NECA 2004 Los Angeles: Important Deadlines Approaching

NECA’s 2004 National Convention and The NECA Show are still almost eight weeks away, but we’d like to draw your attention to some important deadlines related to NECA 2004 Los Angeles which are coming up very soon.

First, there’s the August 27 cut-off for registering for the Post-Convention Tour. (See www.travelata.org.)

September 3 is the deadline for registering for the tours that will be offered during the Convention. (A $6 on-site registration fee will be added if you wait until you get to LA to register, but we cannot guarantee that space will still be available on your tour(s) of choice by then.)

James Bradley will autograph Flyboys: A True Story of American Courage and John Wooden will autograph My Personal Best: Life Lessons from an All-American Journey after their respective speaking engagements for winners of the book-signing raffle. To participate, you must fax the raffle entry form to Bettie Luckman at NECA at 301-215-4553 before 5:00 p.m. (Eastern) on September 13. Another copy of the form is included with this newsletter.

And don’t forget to book your trip with ETA, our official travel agency, in September. ETA has negotiated NECA Convention discounts of 10 percent off excursion fares booked 30 days in advance of travel or 5 percent off fares booked within 30 days on American, United, Delta, US Airways and America West. ETA also offers special zone fares on these airlines. You can book online at http://exectravel.com/ or over the phone at 1-800-498-2270 (or at 202-467-0985 in the Washington, D.C. area). Be sure to let ETA know you are traveling to the 2004 NECA Convention in Los Angeles. (See page 3 for news about great new ETA features.)
